A couple weeks ago I got my first chance to work on the opening of a new case; two new cases actually. Thus far, Kyle has had all the fun in that department. It was my team’s turn to take on a new case and because we are understaffed at the moment I spent most of my time on it for a week or so. I spent a lot of time going back and forth with the social workers who were also working on the case, asking questions, reviewing answers, and putting it all together in the documents that were provided to the government. The end result: 19 people free and a handshake from one of the social workers after the rescue operation.
